Accessibility

This site is built to be used by everyone.

Effective August 1, 2026. We serve older adults, their families, and the clinical teams who care for them. Accessibility is part of that responsibility, not an afterthought.

Our commitment

Mobile Dermatology Solutions is committed to making mobiledermsolutions.com usable by people with disabilities, including those who rely on screen readers, screen magnification, speech recognition, keyboard-only navigation, or other assistive technology. We treat digital access the same way we treat physical access to care: it should not be a barrier to getting the information you need.

Conformance standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by Section 504 and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. We consider this site to be substantially conformant, meaning most of the site meets the standard while some areas remain under continuing review.

Measures we take

  • Accessibility is considered during design and development, not only after launch.
  • Pages are reviewed against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, including color contrast, keyboard operability, focus visibility, and semantic structure.
  • Automated accessibility checks are run against pages as they are changed, with manual keyboard and screen-reader review of key flows.
  • Third-party components used on this site are chosen for their accessibility support.
  • Content authors are asked to write meaningful link text, descriptive image alternatives, and plain-language headings.

Accessibility features on this site

  • A “Skip to main content” link appears as the first item when you press Tab, letting keyboard users bypass the navigation.
  • All functionality — navigation, forms, the chat widget, and the mobile menu — is operable with a keyboard alone, and the chat window can be dismissed with the Escape key.
  • Visible focus indicators are shown on every interactive element.
  • Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a single, logical heading order are used on each page.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields have programmatically associated labels, and required fields are announced.
  • Chat responses are announced to screen readers through a live region.
  • Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and the layout reflows for zoom up to 200% and for small screens.
  • Animation and motion are reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
  • Tap targets on phones and tablets are sized for comfortable use.

Known limitations

Some parts of this experience are outside our direct control. The patient portal linked from our navigation is operated by a third-party vendor (eMedPractice) and is governed by that vendor’s own accessibility practices. Embedded maps, PDF documents, and other third-party content may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If you encounter a barrier in any of these, contact us and we will provide the information to you in an accessible format or by another means.

Alternative ways to reach us

You never have to use this website to work with us. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, you can reach a person directly and we will help you with whatever you were trying to do online — including scheduling, referrals, records requests, and employment applications.

Reporting an accessibility barrier

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please email office@mobiledermsolutions.com or call 888-506-8838 with the page address, a description of the problem, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. Ongoing review

Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We review this site periodically and whenever significant changes are made, and we update this statement to reflect what we find. This statement was last reviewed on August 1, 2026.
