For families
Skin care shouldn't mean another trip across town.
When a rash, sore, or changing mole appears, getting a specialist opinion usually means arranging off-site transport to a doctor's office, a waiting room, and an exhausting day. We remove all of that.

What changes for your loved one
Familiar surroundings, faster answers.
- No off-site transport to a doctor's office, no hours in a waiting room.
- Evaluation in a familiar room, with staff who know them present.
- Suspicious lesions biopsied on the spot rather than weeks later.
- Findings documented in the chart the same day.
Common questions
Questions families ask
- Does my loved one have to leave the community?
- No. Our provider comes to their room. That removes the transport, the wait, and the disorientation that often follows an off-site appointment — which matters enormously for residents with dementia or limited mobility. It also gives families their time back: instead of spending the day arranging and sitting through another trip to a doctor's office, you can spend that visit doing something you both actually enjoy.
- How do I request that they be seen?
- Ask the facility's Director of Nursing or unit nurse to add your loved one to the dermatology list. If we serve that community, they can add a resident to the next scheduled round.
- Will I be told what was found?
- Yes. We never perform anything invasive without first obtaining consent from the resident or their power of attorney, and without discussing it with nursing leadership in the community. Every finding is thoroughly documented in the medical record and shared with the facility's clinical team and the attending physician, and portal access is available for authorized family members to review results directly.
- What does it cost?
- There is no cost to the facility. Visits are billed like other specialist visits, typically through the resident's existing insurance coverage. We're happy to discuss with you how that applies in your loved one's situation.
- What if my loved one's community doesn't use you?
- Share our information with the administrator or Director of Nursing. Partnerships are arranged at the facility level, and administrators are often glad to hear a family has asked.
